"For many years, control engineers thought they had 'security by obscurity.' That is, that industrial networks were too complex and outside the mainstream to be a target. But with the discovery of Stuxnet and other recent industrial threats, the control community has realized that they need to take an active role in securing the network," said Dan Schaffer, industrial network security specialist for Phoenix Contact. "This conference is a chance for control engineers and IT professionals to get together and talk about steps they can take to ensure the security and the integrity of their industrial networks."

The FL mGuard products from Phoenix Contact and Innominate provide stateful firewall, router and VPN functionalities in a single, rugged device. The mGuard is available in several different hardware styles to meet the needs of different industrial environments. Learn more and register at: http://www.mguard.com/uc2012/
