How browsers can be used as user interface.
Dewitt, NY: As a part of its effort to keep young professionals in gases and welding industries abreast of the latest web-based trends and technologies, the Third Quarter issue of Welding and Gases Today features an article from Web expert Tim Fusco. His article, called "The Browser As User Interface," gives insight on using Web browser technology to create a robust user experience.
According to Fusco, originally thought of as the interface for hosted software systems residing on the Internet, browsers such as Microsoft's Internet Explorer, Mozilla's Firefox, Apple's Safari and Google's Chrome are now being used as the user interface (UI) to access and deliver information.

Future-Proof Your Business - As the first truly universal computer interface-so simple that any child can and often does use it-the browser provides access to a new generation of applications.
