Galaxy Control Systems Earns GSA FIPS 201 Approval
System Galaxy Now Listed on Approved Products List
Walkersville, MDÂ - Following an extensive testing and evaluation process, System Galaxy from Galaxy Control Systems has earned Federal Information Processing Standard Publication 201 (FIPS 201) Certification and is now on the GSA Approved Products List (APL) in the PACS Infrastructure category.

FIPS 201 is a U.S. government standard that specifies Personal Identity Verification (PIV) requirements for federal employees and contractors. Federal Agencies may procure only qualified products and services listed in the APL to facilitate the federal government’s objective of a fully interoperable Federal Identity Credential and Access Management (FICAM) architecture, ensuring compliance, consistency and alignment of commercially available products and services with requirements and functional needs of government FICAM implementers.
