Leading the US Customs Web Centric Product Design
September 13th, Hyderabad: Four Soft (4S) (NSE: "FOURSOFT", BSE: 532521), a global leader offering software solutions for Logistics and Transportation industry, today announced the appointment of Phil Pearse as new General Manager of Design 4S.
Phil will be responsible for and will lead the overall management of the company's US customs Web Centric Product Design department.

To date, Phil's career took the traditional path of moving from analyst programmer through project leadership and management, pre sales engineering and product management. While working in the US, Phil became very involved in US Customs Brokerage solutions and initiated some innovative designs for future solutions for this market.
In 2008, Phil took a break from the software world to join Yusen Air & Sea Service. On joining Yusen, Phil implemented more efficient procedures within the IS department to optimize time management and reduce external costs. He was also pivotal in turning around a major ERP implementation that was in jeopardy prior to his arrival. Having proven himself to Yusen's board of directors as an IT leader and innovator, he was soon appointed CIO at Yusen with IT responsibility for all of the Americas. In the role of CIO, he expanded the IS department and began to re-tool the in-house engineers for newer technologies and empower the team to deliver greater value in more collaborative development projects with Yusen's major clients.
