Four Out of Five Archi-Tech AV Award Winners are Crestron Commercial Building Installations


Crestron and its Dealers Recognized for Integration Creativity at InfoComm 2010;
Projects Featuring Crestron Integrated Building Technology Honored with
Four ARCHI-TECH Awards, Including the Two Grand Prize Winners

Rockleigh, NJ, June 15, 2010 - ARCHI-TECH Magazine today announced the winners of its prestigious ARCHI-TECH AV Awards. Four out of the five awards, including both grand prize winners, were won by Crestron projects. In partnership with InfoComm International®, the ARCHI-TECH AV Awards program honors outstanding examples of the creative and effective integration of technology into nonresidential buildings. Winners were honored at InfoComm10 in Las Vegas.

Five awards, including a Best Over $1 Million and a Best Under $1 Million grand prize, were given for outstanding work involving nonresidential buildings. The winning projects featuring Crestron technology are:

Grand Prize Winner, Over $1 Million - Center for Connected Medicine Pittsburgh, PA
Grand Prize Winner, Under $1 Million - Autodesk, Waltham, MA
Winner - Carolina Herrera Flagship Boutique at CityCenter, Las Vegas, NV
Winner - Fox News Network, New York City

A panel of experts from the architectural, AV and building control industries judged each entry based on criteria in the areas of concept, design, scheduling, innovation, team work, and solution.

Award winning projects were showcased at the InfoComm International Exhibition in Las Vegas and will be featured in ARCHI-TECH's e-newsletter (AT Weekly). Each winning project will also be the subject of its own educational webinar offered to architects for continuing education credits.
