Fotona to Highlight Its New Dynamis PRO Laser at ASLMS Meeting in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. - Fotona, based in the U.S. and Europe,  will highlight its new Dynamis PRO laser platform with its Fotona Gynecologic, SMOOTH™, Fotona4D™, PIANO, FRAC3, and Avalanche proprietary treatment capabilities at the upcoming Annual Conference of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (ASLMS),  in Kissimmee, Florida from 22 - 26 April 2015.  Fotona will be exhibiting the Dynamis PRO and the QX MAX at the ASLMS in booth #425 at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center.  The ASLMS is one of theworld's preeminent organizations promoting excellence in patient care by advancing biomedical applications of lasers and other related technologies worldwide.

Fotona recently received FDA additional clearance for its new Dynamis PRO and the new G-Set vaginal laser delivery systems for treatments in gynecology and genitourology using its proprietary Fotona SMOOTH™ Er:YAG modality.  The patented G-set handpieces and speculums are specially designed for ease of use and precision performing intervaginal treatments.  These new clearances, which are for surgical incision, excision, ablation, vaporization and coagulation of all types of tissue, including mucosa tissue, and a broad range of treatments of genitourinary lesions and polyps, are in addition to an extensive portfolio of clearances for the Dynamis series of lasers in aesthetics, surgery and podiatry.

Fotona also announced it has Patents Granted in the U.S. and EU for treatments of mucosa tissue with the SMOOTH™ mode and G-set delivery system, including for laser treatment of urinary incontinence and vaginal tightening treatment.

The Dynamis PRO provides high power and precision for an extensive range of tissue-selective treatments.  The new, advanced GUI interface is intuitive and easy-to-use with a complete armamentarium of advanced pulse modes, industry pioneering scanners and handpieces, enabling treatments in high demand by patients.

Combining two complementary wavelengths, the Dynamis PRO functions as a highly versatile, multi-purpose system, performing a wide range of applications in aesthetics, surgery and ground breaking treatments in gynecology.  Its Nd:YAG 1064nm wavelength effectively reaches the deepest layers of the skin, while the Er:YAG 2940nm wavelength is ideal for brushing away surface imperfections for attractive, long-lasting results.  SMOOTH mode is a Er:YAG treatment modality that delivers laser energy onto the skin in a fast sequence of low-fluence laser pulses inside an overall super-long pulse. Because SMOOTH pulses are longer than the epidermal TRT, the effect of SMOOTH mode is gentle coagulative heating of the skin without any significant ablation of the epidermis.

Fotona4D™ is a series of synergistic, non-invasive laser treatments of both the exterior facial and interior oral cavity, enabling full-thickness contraction of collagen for persistent, no-downtime tightening and volumization, without injectables.

Fotona4D uses both Er:YAG and Nd:YAG wavelengths and four distinct modes of treatment: SmoothLiftin™, FRAC3®, PIANO® and SupErficial™, all harnessed for aesthetic use in concert to combat facial aging. The four 'dimensions' of Fotona4D give practitioners a unique ability to achieve facial rejuvenation with little or no downtime or anesthesia.

The new Dynamis PRO system offers numerous treatment delivery options including the gynecological G-set, and F-Runner (fractional) and S-Runner scanning devices for the Er:YAG and the S-11 scanner for the Nd:YAG with a maximum scan area of 42 cm(2) covered with 3, 6 or 9 mm spot sizes for fast, precise treatments.  The Dynamis PRO also has handpieces for skin resurfacing and rejuvenation, pigmented Lesions, scar revision, vascular lesions, acne acne scar revision, onychomycosis, endovascular treatments and laser lipolysis.
