Former Intel Storage Executive Joins Nirvanix Board of Directors

Industry veteran will lend expertise to further company's Storage Delivery Network through its rapid growth phase

SAN DIEGO - March 03, 2008 - Nirvanix, the premier "Cloud Storage" platform provider, today announced the addition of Michael V. Wall to its Board of Directors. Wall was a founding member of the management team that started the enormously successful storage business for Intel in the late 1990's and will bring this depth and breadth of experience to aid Nirvanix as it continues to build its Storage Delivery Network worldwide.

Wall spent 15 years at Intel Corporation, most recently as the general manager of the company's Storage Group. As a leading supplier of storage technology to the computer industry, Wall worked closely with the large, multinational OEMs that manufacture and distribute servers, workstations and storage solutions.

Prior to joining Intel, Wall served as a general manager at Cray Research, where he was responsible for North American operations. He has also held several marketing management positions at IBM Corporation.

"The storage market isn't known for frequent inflection points but this happens to be one of those rare moments as online storage takes a solid footing in the marketplace. There is no doubt that the Nirvanix Storage Delivery Network approach to the market is a winner," said Wall. "I look forward to working with my fellow Board members and the management team at Nirvanix to ensure that our SDN becomes the de facto storage utility standard."

"Mike brings a strong network across Fortune 1000 companies and storage OEMs, successful operating experience and great strategic insight, which will further accelerate Nirvanix growth," said Patrick Harr, Chief Executive Officer and Board of Director Member at Nirvanix. "Nirvanix has been adding accounts in record numbers across the world from startups to the largest of corporations and, especially at this time in our company's history, the depth and breadth of experience that Mike is bringing to the Board will definitely make the climb up the steep growth curve easier. We are very pleased that Mike has decided to join the Board."

Wall earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics at State University of New York at Stony Brook, as well as a Masters of Management Sciences from Harriman College for Urban and Policy Sciences at SUNY Stony Brook.
