Florida Chemical Company President Announces Retirement


November, 2006 - Paul Schulz, President of Florida Chemical Company, announced his retirement from the company beginning January 1, 2007. After 21 years at Florida Chemical, Schulz will leave the presidency to pursue a career as a full-time artist. Schulz is a renowned artist and painter. "I am excited to announce that I will retire on January 1, 2007," Schulz said. "It has been an honor to oversee the business that my father and grandfather started and to walk in their footsteps through a new era of phenomenal growth."

Schulz will continue in his role as a shareholder and active board member of the company. Schulz said, "Although I will not be part of the day-to-day operations, I intend to strongly support Florida Chemical's leadership role promoting environmentally safe citrus-based products to every industry and application imaginable, domestically and around the world."

Josh Snively, the company's vice president and general manager, will step into the role of president in January. Snively has been with the company for over 15 years.
