Fenner Advanced Sealing Technologies (FAST Group-Houston) today announced the acquisition of American Industrial Plastics (AIP) located in Daytona, Florida. For 30 years, AIP has served the oil and gas, industrial, and medical markets with precision machined products for demanding applications.
"This is a perfect alignment of manufacturing capabilities," said FAST Group-Houston President Leonard Casey. "The capabilities of the team at AIP expand our current offerings and give us an even stronger presence in our key markets."
AIP specializes in developing customer concepts into manufacturable parts. The team is particularly proficient in manufacturing complex and difficult-to-machine components out of high-performance, polymer-based materials.
