Evaporated Coatings, Incorporated Completes Acquisition of 3rd Ion Beam Sputtering System! Â

Willow Grove, PA USA – Evaporated Coatings, Incorporated (ECI), a leading provider of thin film optical coatings, announced today the acquisition of another New Veeco Spector™ Ion Beam Sputtering (IBS) Deposition System to support increased customer demand.
The acquisition is part of ECI’s strategy to continue to develop and manufacture high quality innovative optical custom filter coatings with low optical loss. “Completion of the acquisition and subsequent calibrations of the new IBS system are underway and expected to be finalized by September 2013”, said President Robert Schaffer.
