Evans Hires New Business Development Manager for Virginia
SUFFOLK, Va. — Evans Distribution Systems, a full service third-party logistics provider of warehousing, transportation, staffing and value added services hired R. Darrick Lemaster as the business development manager.
Lemaster is responsible for business development and account management in the Suffolk and Norfolk areas and throughout the country. He will also help in the day to day warehouse management. His close proximity to the Port of Norfolk gives Evans another advantage as they continue to expand their third party logistics services in the Hampton Roads area.

Lemaster has managed distribution centers in North Carolina, Virginia, and Philadelphia. He has extensive experience with distribution and logistics, business process improvements, supply chain management, and account management. He most recently worked at American Condenser in Suffolk, Va., as the warehouse manager, where he managed international accounts, and increased efficiencies across the board. Previously, Lemaster was the warehouse manager for Blackwater USA in Moyock, N.C., where he managed budgetary parameters, created ISO processes, and had an outstanding relationship with associates.
