Eriez® Will Introduce 'Eccentric' RevX-E(TM) Eddy Current Separator at ISRI 2010

Erie, PA--Eriez®, world authority in advanced technology for magnetic, vibratory and inspection applications, will introduce its new RevX-E(TM) Eddy Current Separator with eccentric magnetic rotors at ISRI 2010, which takes place in San Diego from May 5-7. The RevX-E is ideally suited for purifying cullet and plastics, and recovered valuable metal from secondary metals and incineration ash, especially the separation of small particles.

The new RevX-E Eddy Current Separator (ECS) features an eccentric magnetic rotor to allow a single point of separation, which is different than a concentric design.

"Now Eriez offers both an eccentric and concentric ECS, enabling customers to choose the right model for their application," says Mike Shattuck, Eriez' Heavy Industries Project Manager. "An eccentric style ECS offers one chance of separating small particles, while a concentric model offers maximum expulsion over the whole area of the outer shell. You match the ECS model to your separation objectives"

Along with the new RevX-E Eddy Current Separator, Eriez also plans to demonstrate all major equipment at their booth (EDA), including the new ProSort II Airless Metal Recovery System and a new yet-to-be-revealed major breakthrough in ASR processing equipment that the company says will revolutionize metal recovery.

Eriez is recognized as world authority in advanced technology for magnetic, vibratory and inspection applications. The company's magnetic lift and separation, metal detection, x-ray, materials feeding, screening, conveying and controlling equipment have application in the process, metalworking, packaging, recycling, mining, aggregate and textile industries. Eriez manufactures and markets these products through ten international facilities located on six continents.
