Environmental Services Company Adds Fourth Service Center in Chattanooga, Tennessee

SWS Environmental Services (SWSES) has expanded its operations in Tennessee to Chattanooga. The newest location for SWSES is the fourth service center in Tennessee, which currently includes Nashville, Knoxville and Memphis.
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. – The Chattanooga service center, located at 4131 South Creek Road, will provide turnkey environmental services. Response crews have the ability to quickly respond to spills and other emergency response incidents on land or in the water, which typically mitigates damage or harm to the surroundings near Interstates 24, 75 and 59, as well as minutes from the Tennessee River.
Jim Nardozzi, Vice President of Operations, said “I am excited to announce our expansion and opening of a new location in Chattanooga. If you draw a line on a map connecting our Nashville, Decatur, Birmingham, Atlanta and Knoxville offices, you see a big gap right in the middle – that’s Chattanooga. The addition of this new service center will position us to effectively service the southeast quadrant of Tennessee and further support our other locations in Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia.”
A wide range of services are provided from this location including spill response for oils, fuels and chemicals; storage tank cleaning; decontamination; contaminated soil excavation and removal; soft dig technology; high pressure washing; vacuum truck services; underground storage tank (UST) cleaning/removal; lab packing; hazardous and non-hazardous waste disposal; roll-off boxes, and meth lab cleanups.
SWSES is a U.S. Coast Guard certified Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) with the ability to serve the needs of marine clients that may require water-borne emergency response services. Accordingly, the new location is equipped with a fully stocked emergency response trailer (ERT), response boats, sorbent and containment boom, skimming equipment, and a variety of pumps.
Like all other SWSES locations, this new location is expected to provide clients with a team of highly trained and skilled professionals and a commitment to safety. Personnel are specialty trained and certified in OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER, confined space entry, confined space entry rescue, rail roadway, over water transfers and First Aid/CPR.
