Emerson Network Power's James Hall Named President of the Blade Systems Alliance


Columbus, Ohio [December 19, 2006]- Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson (NYSE: EMR), and the global leader in enabling Business-Critical Continuity(TM), today announced that James Hall, IT strategic marketing manager for the company's Liebert power and cooling solutions, has been elected president of the Blade Systems Alliance.

Hall has more than three decades of leadership experience in marketing, engineering and operations management in the power industry. In his position at Emerson Network Power, he is responsible for developing strategies and driving execution of programs that educate IT managers and executives about power and cooling issues, including the unique power and cooling requirements blades introduce. He also currently serves on the board of the Central Ohio AFCOM chapter.
