Elsner Announces the Retirement of Donald M. Rush, National Sales Manager, After 27 Years of Loyal Service

Elsner Engineering Works, Inc. wishes to announce that Donald M.
Rush, National Sales Manager, is retiring at the end of December, 2008, after 27-1/2 years of
faithful service to the Corporation. Don started his career at Elsner on August 31, 1981, as a
Sales Engineer. Don and his family moved to Hanover from upstate New York where he was
employed by another converting equipment manufacturer at the time. Don had primary sales
responsibility for Elsner for the eastern and western United States and Canadian territories and
oversaw representation in parts of Europe and Africa.

F. Rusty Elsner, President & CEO states: "We are indebted to Don for his loyal service
and efforts in promoting and selling the Elsner product line all over the world. He sold over
$50,000,000.00 USD worth of equipment during his career at Elsner-so he must have been
doing something correctly. I know for Don, it was pleasurable and he made many friendships
along the way." Don plans to remain in the Hanover area and hopes to travel with his wife,
Mariles, throughout the USA and Canada in their motorhome.

Jay Roth, Don's capable replacement, states: "I have worked with Don for the past 13
years. Upon my promotion into the sales arena for the Company, I had the pleasure to travel to
customers in 47 different cities in the past 8 months with Don and I was pleased to see firsthand
how much respect he had gained through his career. Many customers told him he could park his
motorhome in their Company parking lot anytime he wanted. I know they were serious."

We wish Don and his family well as he hangs out his well-deserved "retired" shingle...
