Eaton Completes Purchase of Fine Filtration Business


Tue Sep 5, 2006-CLEVELAND ... Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) today announced it has completed its purchase of the Ronningen-Petter industrial fine filtration business from Dover Resources, Inc. Terms were not disclosed. Dover Resources is a subsidiary of Dover Corporation (NYSE:DOV).

Dover Resources' Ronningen-Petter fine filtration business had 2005 sales of approximately $30 million. It provides filters and components to customers in end markets that include the oil and gas, pulp and paper, and food and beverage industries. Eaton announced Aug. 9 that it had reached a definitive agreement with Dover Resources to purchase its industrial fine filtration business.
