EAO Announces User Friendly Product Search
EAO, the expert partner for human machine interfaces, is proud to announce the introduction of a new Product Finder at their corporate website, www.eao.com. The Product Finder helps guide visitors through EAO's comprehensive range of switch components, which includes illuminated pushbuttons, indicators, key switches, emergency-stop switches, and membrane type products.
Using an advanced parametric search feature, this allows a number of simultaneous criteria to be specified. For example, customers can search for a selector switch with two positions, protected to IP 65, and capable of switching a current up to 5 Amps. Products can also be search by application, market segment, and specific part number. Existing customers will find the new search by Series or Article Number an easy way to find spare parts.
Other beneficial features of this application are the Product Configurator, data sheet creator, and the available 3D drawings. The Configurator module of the Product Finder informs the user of what additional components are necessary to complete an entire switch assembly - from contact block, to illumination, to optional accessories. Once complete, individually customized datasheets can be created illustrating the involved components identified in the user's requirements. Then, a 3D file can be viewed and exported in common file formats such as Solid Works and AutoCad.
