eSoft Launches Threat Information Portal

Free Statistical Information Provided on Threat Center is Collected in Real-Time from Globally-Deployed eSoft Gateways
BROOMFIELD, Colo., Jan. 17 -- eSoft, Inc., a leading vendor of integrated Internet security and content management solutions, announced today that it has added an Internet and network threat information portal to its redesigned website. The new portal, called the eSoft Threat Center, includes free information for eSoft customers and enterprise users to help them research a variety of security issues.
The statistics and information displayed on the portal are collected by eSoft's global Threat Prevention Team, as well as via eSoft's Distributed Intelligence Architecture (DIA) on a real-time basis. DIA introduces two-way communication between eSoft's Threat Prevention Lab and all eSoft deployed appliances, adding significantly higher levels of security intelligence and more detailed reporting between the deployed gateways and the Lab. DIA also delivers real-time security updates to all active eSoft appliances. Threat Center will be also home to eSoft's new multimedia information service, "Live! From Threat Center," which will launch in February.
