DYMAX President Appointed to Manufacturing Council

Greg Bachmann, president of Torrington, CT-based DYMAX Corporation, is among 24 manufacturing leaders appointed to the 2010 Manufacturing Council by U.S. Commerce Secretary Gary Locke. The Council advises the Secretary on matters relating to the competitiveness of the manufacturing sector, and government policies and programs that affect U.S. manufacturers.

"A vibrant manufacturing sector isn't just critical for the millions of Americans whose jobs depend on it," Locke said. "Manufacturing is absolutely central to driving the innovation that fuels the American economy."

Originally established in 2004 and re-chartered on July 14, 2010, the Manufacturing Council members represent a broad cross section of U.S. industry, with the Secretaries of Labor, Energy, and Treasury serving as ex-officio members. See the Manufacturing Council website for more information and a complete list of members.

In addition to their headquarters in Torrington, DYMAX has locations in Germany, China, Hong Kong, and Korea which serve the assembly needs of the medical, electronic, optical, automotive, appliance, metal finishing, power generation, and industrial markets worldwide.

DYMAX Corporation is a leading technology-based company specializing in the formulation, manufacture, and service of advanced assembly adhesives, coatings, epoxies, masking resins, and light-curing systems.
