"We are excited to be showing our leading edge products at VidTrans18," commented Laszlo Zoltan, Vice President of DVEO. "We offer multiple licensable solutions for reliable delivery of video and other assets over IP and wireless."

DVEO products at VidTrans18 will include:

  1. Secure Accelerated File Transfer Solution - Faster File: Secure AFT+RIFT™
  2. UDP Packet Recovery Technology for Public or Private Internet - DOZER™ ARQ
  3. High Speed SMPTE 2022 FEC Error Correcting Router - FEC Box II IP IP™
  4. HLS Stream Time Delay - OTT View™

1.Secure Accelerated File Transfer Solution - Faster File: Secure AFT+RIFT

The Faster File: Secure AFT (Accelerated File Transfer)+RIFT (Reliable Internet File Transfer) is a real time high speed file transport appliance that enables fast, dependable, and secure IP file transfer of large files and digital assets. It relies on DVEO's patented DOZER™ ARQ (Automatic Repeat Request) UDP packet loss correction technology to ensure error-free delivery over long distances, over private or public wired or wireless Internet.

The Faster File: Secure AFT+RIFT is suitable for transferring video, digital movie dailies, radiological data, CAD files, maps, and more. The system secures file transfers via AES-128 encryption and corrects packet loss. It sends multiple files at the same time, automatically retries and resumes if an internet connection is interrupted, and shows when files are received securely and correctly at the destination system.

The Faster File: Secure AFT with RIFT ships as a pair of two compact Linux® based systems that can be placed behind firewalls. The solution is also available as a software license via an SDK option.

2. UDP Packet Recovery Technology for Public or Private Internet - DOZER ARQ

DVEO's award-winning DOZER ARQ (Automatic Repeat Request) Automated Packet Recovery technology ensures packet loss free real time video delivery over IP. It automatically fixes UDP packet loss and achieves extremely high quality, low-latency, and error-free real-time video transport over any type of IP network including wireless and public Internet. The patented algorithm alleviates video freezes, jitter, and noise over long distance IP transmissions. The technology is available to be licensed.

The DOZER technology is available as a compact stand-alone product - DOZERbox™ IP/IP + AES128, or a one RU system - DOZER Rack IP/IP. It is also offered as a software license - the DOZER ARQ: LIC - for third-party integration into IP video distribution products such as streamers, media servers, encoders/transcoders, receivers, CDN and network equipment, VoIP and video conferencing appliances, and multi-player games devices.

3. High Speed SMPTE 2022 FEC Error Correcting Router - FEC Box II IP IP

DVEO's compact (5.5 inches square), real time, end-to-end SMPTE 2022 FEC (Forward Error Correction) error correcting router increases the reliability of UDP/RTP IP streams over IP networks. The system alleviates corrupted bits and packet loss on WiFi, satellite, microwave, cellular, Internet, and other unidirectional connections prone to packet loss. It fixes or protects against frame loss, picture artifacts, audio drop-out and other video decoding errors. The FEC Box II IP IP features higher than normal speed bit rates of 25 Kbps to 120 Mbps. It adds FEC to systems that don't support it. It is available for licensing.

4. HLS Stream Time Delay - OTT View

OTT View is a cloud based application that time delays live IP streams - it plays streams after a delay that is adjustable from seconds to up to 30 days. The remote software delays and monitors real time HLS streams and also monitors and analyzes streams from the past that have been archived. Operators can delay and/or test HLS streams from CDNs or Wowza, DVEO, and Delta servers. The OTT View service is available now.
