Du-Co Ceramics Company Acquires Assets Of Saxonburg Ceramics, Inc.


Du-Co Ceramics Company and Saxonburg Ceramics, both headquartered in Saxonburg, Pennsylvania, recently announced that Du-Co Ceramics is acquiring certain assets of the 83 year old Saxonburg Ceramics who will be closing it's Saxonburg manufacturing facility.

Du-Co Ceramics Company, an ISO 9001:2000 certified manufacturer, is a leading producer of precision ceramic components at work in a myriad of places, from household appliances to industrial heating applications.

This acquisition is a natural extension of Du-Co Ceramics' core competency with ceramic materials including steatite, cordierite, aluminum oxide, and magnesium oxide. With a more diverse range of materials, enhanced production capabilities, excellent reputation as a leading producer of precision ceramic components and a proven strong commitment to our customers, Du-Co Ceramics is well positioned to be the provider of choice in a global marketplace.

Du-Co Ceramics Company will phase some of the acquired business into its state of the art facility and will continue to operate SCI's Monroe, North Carolina facility.
