Drake Launches Online Catalog of Stock Labels

Extensive line includes everything from Hazard and Safety labels
to International Handling and Recycling decals

AUSTIN, Texas - April 2, 2009 - Drake Industries launches their first online catalog of stock labels. The manufacturer of durable UL and CSA approved labels, with a 44-year history, makes common warnings and instructions available with a simple double-click.

The catalog contains about everything you'd imagine: "High Voltage," "Eye Protection Required," "No Smoking," "Vertical Clearance." As well as "Keep Frozen," "Perishable," "Fragile" and "Do Not Stack." Not to mention tags for labeling assets and inventory. Increasingly popular are decals for running a recycling program.

Can't afford many? No problem. Drake prides itself on being one of the few manufacturers willing to produce small quantities, even prototypes, for its customers. The stock labels, in fact, come in units of five.

Need both Spanish and English warning labels? Drake has that covered. Many of the stock labels are available in both languages.

Drake also has several hundred dies available in various shapes and sizes. This means customers can order labels tailored to meet their specific needs for color and content, but keep costs down by using standard die cuts. One recent example was a rectangular label Drake produced with an iridescent ink for a prismatic effect. The money saved on the die covered the expense of the ink.

In addition to its catalog, Drake has launched several online tools to help engineers specify their labels, including a materials guide, barcode glossary and a convenient Re-Order Form. The materials guide helps determine the best base, whether aluminum, polycarbonate, or vinyl. While the Re-Order Form provides 24/7 accessibility for faster turnaround of customized products.
