Dow Corning Adds Sealing Devices as a Technical Distributor
MIDLAND, MI. - June 21, 2007 - Dow Corning has announced that it has signed Sealing Devices, Inc., a leading distributor and fabricator of industrial seals, gaskets and sealants, to be a technical distributor, specializing in sealant and adhesive products.
The agreement covers a broad range of Dow Corning silicone-based sealants, adhesives and cured-in-place and dispensed foam gasketing products used in a variety of industries including industrial, automotive, and home appliances. Sealing Devices will provide technical support, develop technical specifications, and develop new business for Dow Corning in the Eastern United States and Ontario, Canada.
The company, formed in 1963 and headquartered in Lancaster, NY, supplies O-rings, gaskets, EMI shielding, seals, molded rubber parts, protective vents, and adhesives and sealants, and has six-axis robotic dispensing capabilities.
