Dorken Corp. USA Hosts Licensees and Equipment Manufacturers for Coatings Conference
Grass Lake, MI - Dörken Corporation USA, with headquarters in Grass Lake and a global leader in the manufacture of multi-functional, non-chrome micro layer corrosion protection systems hosted its 4th Annual Licensee Meeting March 21, 2011 bringing together a diverse audience in the coatings industry. Over 40 participants attended the seminar including Dörken coatings licensees, equipment manufacturers and OEMs. The meeting provided a forum for the expression of the latest innovations and technologies in the industry and included a panel of OEM coatings experts discussing market trends and needs.
In attendance was Dr. Martin Welp, CEO of the parent company Dörken MKS-Systeme GmbH & Co, Herdecke, Germany. Dr. Welp greeted the attendees and provided an overview of new products, systems and quality procedures that Dörken has implemented globally in response to the challenges of the market.
Fred Schultz, vice president, Dörken Corporation USA, and organizer of the meeting said, "This was an excellent opportunity for our licensees to get an update on new technologies, as well as gaining meaningful insight in to Dörken's future planning.
In addition to presentations from Dörken personnel, other presentations included those from Blast-Abrade, Coral Chemical, MicroGleit, Schatz, WMV and a board member providing updates on the National Association for Surface Finishing and Sur-Fin Exhibition.
