Don Gruber Is New Regional VP for NOVATEC
BALTIMORE, MD, U.S.A., December 6, 2006: NOVATEC, Inc. has appointed Don Gruber as regional vice president of sales in the southern U.S. and the Maquila area in Mexico. The states in the region include Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas.
"Don brings to NOVATEC a 38-year plastics-industry background that includes extensive experience in manufacturing, technical service, and sales roles," said Conrad M. Bessemer, president and CEO. "His broad industry understanding enables him to provide expert supervision of our sales network in the southern region and valuable support to our customers there."
Gruber began his plastics career in 1968 in the engineering development lab of HPM, a manufacturer of primary processing equipment. His subsequent experience included plant management for housewares manufacturer Rubbermaid and compounder Progressive Polymers, sales and technical service for equipment manufacturers representatives in the southern U.S., and regional management for injection molding equipment builders Arburg and Battenfeld. Before joining NOVATEC he spent seven years with LaBelle Industrial Sales, a plastics equipment manufacturers representative based in El Paso, TX.
