DHS Webinar to Highlight Three Cutting-Edge Risk and Resiliency Tools

Login online February 1 and learn firsthand about three risk and resiliency tools from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The DHS Science and Technology Directorate invites you to participate in a webinar to highlight the latest tools to improve the security and resilience of our nation's buildings and infrastructure. Each tool, including the Integrated Rapid Visual Screening (IRVS) Tool, the Owners Performance Requirements (OPR) Tool and the Urban Blast Tool (UBT), provides risk and resilience assessments of facilities. The tools also are capable of analyzing and compiling a range of high-performance requirements, including safety, security, environmental footprint and energy conservation, sustainability, durability and continuity of operations.

First responders, facility owners and managers, and members of the design community can all benefit from utilizing these tools to assess risks from earthquakes, floods, wind, fire, explosives, ballistics and chemical, biological and radiological hazards and to address risk and resiliency to achieve high performance outcomes.

Join the DHS team that developed these programs in an online presentation of the three-cutting edge tools. Download the flyer for more information. To register, visit https://connect.hsin.gov/cutting_edge_tools/event/registration.html.
