David VanderMolen Joins Barry-Wehmiller as Leader of Organizational Leadership Development


ST. LOUIS - Nov. 19, 2007 - Rhonda Spencer, Director of Organizational Empowerment at
Barry-Wehmiller Companies, Inc., is proud to announce that David VanderMolen has joined the Organizational Empowerment team as Leader of Organizational Leadership Development. For the past 10 years, VanderMolen worked for a leading lean manufacturer as its Leadership and Performance Development Manager. In this role, VanderMolen was responsible for the company's overall people development strategy. He also led its
leadership training and product and process training programs, geared toward unleashing the potential of its associates at every level, from entry to executive.

VanderMolen will leverage his experience in the development of inspirational training programs with a leadership role in Barry- Wehmiller University, a new education initiative that reflects the company's commitment to its employees' personal growth-a central theme of its Guiding Principles of Leadership.

In his new role, VanderMolen will also partner with Barry-Wehmiller's Culture and People Development (CPD) team as it works to align the company's human resources practices to its unique leadership vision. He will begin by partnering with Jim Hertel, Director of Compensation and Benefits, to develop and implement a new performance review process that will encourage personal development and foster a sense of fulfillment for all Barry-Wehmiller associates.

VanderMolen currently resides in Holland, Mich., with his wife of 19 years, Susan, and their sons, Bridge and Hunter.
