February 2nd, 2006, Mansfield, MA - C&D Technologies (NYSE: CHP) has published a new data book that combines product information with selection and application guidance notes. Products in the book are suitable for applications ranging from general data acquisition to high-performance conversion for high-end instrumentation/imaging (life sciences, medical, industrial scientific instruments, military). Other uses include spectrum applications such as communications, radar and sonar.

The C&D Data Acquisition Product Data Book presents the full C&D Technologies range of DATEL converters and conversion products, including military qualified variants. The Data Book covers imaging converters, discrete sample-and-hold amplifiers and multiplexers, as well as numerous analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters that address a wide variety of speed, resolution, and noise performance requirements.

In addition to tabulated data for rapid product selection, the new Data Book offers a summary of relevant C&D Technologies application notes and details of the company's quality assurance, testing and custom design capabilities. Application notes cover the use of converters in high-speed, data acquisition and imaging applications, as well other topics such as selection and thermal management.
