Customers Expand their Digisonics OB PACS and Structured Reporting Systems

Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center in Alamogordo, N.M. and Legacy Health System in Portland, Ore. updated their Digisonics OB PACS and Structured Reporting Systems for improved workflow efficiency.

Gerald Champion Regional Medical center enhanced their OB PACS and ultrasound reporting system with a new software license, allowing additional user access to the Digisonics system for image review, fetal growth analysis and structured reporting.  Full remote reading capabilities will be available via OB-View Net, a web-based application that provides secure access to the entire OB PACS and structured reporting system.  The system is the ideal solution for Gerald Champion Medical Center’s users to stay connected to their OB ultrasound studies while at home, out of the office or at another facility.

Legacy Health System, who already employs the Digisonics OB PACS and Structured Reporting System across several facilities in their enterprise, will now implement the Digisonics system at Legacy Medical Group – Maternal Fetal Medicine in Clackamas, Ore. The addition of the Digisonics software at this location enables its clinicians to quickly review their OB ultrasound study images and create a structured report summarizing their findings.  An added OBLink interface will autopopulate the patient demographics and measurements directly from their GE Voluson E8 ultrasound machine into the Digisonics OB structured report.  As a result of automating the transfer of data, the facility benefits from improved accuracy and a reduction in overall time spent on manual data entry.
