CPhI/P-MEC 2015: Multisorb Technologies to Demonstrate Sorbent Dispenser Capabilities for Increased Efficiency

Buffalo, New York – Multisorb Technologies will feature in-booth demonstrations of its Multisorb APA® Model 2000 high-speed StripPax®, StabilOx®, and IntelliSorb® packet dispenser at CPhI/P-MEC, December 1-3, in Mumbai, India.

"We use a systems approach that pairs our sorbent packets and canisters with their corresponding dispensers, which are specifically engineered and pre-qualified to run these," said Laxmikant Khaitan, Commercial Director of Multisorb's Healthcare Packaging Group in Asia-Pacific. "The result is an industry leading output efficiency of >99.997% for our dispensers and the lowest total cost of ownership."

The APA Model 2000 dispenser provides dispensing rates of up to 300 packets per minute and SMART dispensing technology for product traceability. It easily interfaces with a variety of packaging lines, including bottling, thermoforming, VFFS, HFFS, and flow wrap machinery.

Multisorb's dispenser system is part of its Success through EfficiencySM program. This program offers a comprehensive approach to identify, select, and dispense the sorbent solution for optimal shelf life, quality, cost, and speed. Highlights include:

• Simulations for Product Stability and Faster Market Access: Our SimulSorbSM and SimulOxSM simulations use QbD-based modeling to quickly identify the optimal sorbent for desired shelf life. By eliminating costly sorbent ranging studies, our simulations can help get product to market 6-12 months faster.

• Sorbent Platforms for all Requirements and Complex Issues: Our technical team can help select the best platform for your packaging presentation to deliver the lowest possible net packaging cost. Multisorb's IntelliSorb packets, canisters, and compressed sorbents provide solutions for complex moisture management issues in gel capsules and RDD devices.

• Dispensing Systems for Cost Effective and Turnkey Operations: By engineering our sorbent platforms with their respective dispensers, we create a system that delivers maximum efficiency.
