Exhibit Space Sales Strong for 2011 CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE

Despite continuing uncertainties in the manufacturing sector, companies continue to sign up to exhibit at the next CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE expositions , set for March 2011. They include returning companies as well as new exhibitors, from large to niche businesses across North America and worldwide. The co-located shows will be held March 22-26, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, USA.

"Some companies have actually increased their exhibit space even though others had to reduce their commitment because of the economy," said Megan Tanel, AEM's vice president, exhibitions and events. "They all say they see the value of our shows as an industry gathering place to efficiently connect with customers, especially in these economic times."

With opening day about one year away, CONEXPO-CON/AGG already covers more than 1.8 million net square feet of exhibits, and IFPE is close to topping 100,000 net square feet. Exhibit space is still available, on a first come, first served basis.

For added exhibitor value, the shows bundle a variety of services such as drayage into the exhibit space rate. This exhibitor "package plan" covers full drayage (including unloading/loading of all crated materials and machinery and delivery to exhibit spaces from the marshalling yard and pick-up at show close), general stand cleaning, and pipe and drape for standard inline exhibit stands. Exhibitors have access to complimentary marketing materials and exhibitor training sessions, especially useful for companies new to exhibiting or to IFPE and CONEXPO-CON/AGG.

The shows will again feature specialized exhibit pavilions, including a focus on information technology/management, and international exhibit pavilions. Also, ICON Expo, with an emphasis on the concrete products industry, is co-locating with the shows in 2011.

"For attendees, they'll be able to see the range of the latest products and services available in the marketplace and be able to talk one-on-one with industry experts in construction, construction materials and fluid power/motion control," Tanel said.
About 80 percent of attendees at the last edition of CONEXPO-CON/AGG and IFPE rated their value as "excellent" or "very good," and the good-to-excellent total response exceeded 97 percent. Some three-quarters of attendees were presidents, owners, vice presidents, chief financial officers or managers.

"Our shows are industry-run with a focus on customer service; our goal is to provide a quality experience for exhibitors and attendees, one that delivers the biggest return on their investment of time and money," added IFPE Show Director Melissa Magestro.
