ClearOrbit Appoints Jerry Folsom as Vice President of Product Management in Support of Continued Market Expansion and Product Innovation

- Company Positioned to Lower Total Cost of Ownership for Customers through New Product Innovations that Compliment SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite -

Austin, Texas - Nov. 16, 2006 - ClearOrbit ( www.clearorbit.com ), the leading provider of real-time supply chain execution and reverse logistics solutions, today announced that Jerry Folsom has been named vice president of product management. Folsom previously served as ClearOrbit's vice president of product development. In his new role, Folsom is responsible for advancing the company's continued commitment to lowering total cost of ownership (TCO) for customers, and driving rapid product innovations that compliment SAP and Oracle E-Business Suite.

John Reece, ClearOrbit president and CEO, stated, "ClearOrbit is strategically and rapidly expanding product offerings into new markets, and developing innovative ways for customers to manage the supply network and leverage their enterprise applications. Jerry Folsom is a valuable asset to our company who has the expertise, vision and industry insight to support our growth by driving innovation and delivering products that meet the business needs of companies throughout the supply chain."

Reece cited an emerging industry trend in which ERP providers such as SAP and Oracle are developing products based on Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and composite applications. Reece explained, "We are excited about this industry shift, which mirrors the product development and business philosophy approach we've taken since our inception more than 12 years ago. Consequently, ClearOrbit is uniquely positioned well ahead of the curve to solve key business problems our customers and the market at-large face today and into the future."

Folsom further explained that the shift toward SOA and composite applications means that companies can add critical industry-specific supply chain functionality to their ERP systems more easily than ever before. Now ERP vendors, independent solutions vendors (ISV's), service providers, systems integrators and customers are working together within what has been identified by industry experts as the ERP ecosystem.

"No longer will customers be required to deal with multiple disconnected systems and proprietary data models to get the functionality required to run their business," Folsom said. "That model is being replaced by a collaborative ecosystem with composite applications running on top of a common ERP platform, and eliminating duplicate functionality and complex implementations. ClearOrbit is well-suited to serve customers in the SAP and Oracle ecosystems because our solutions have never required a proprietary data model, and therefore eliminate the need for duplicate configurations and integration with separate systems. Ultimately, this offers tremendous value to our customers and to the marketplace as a whole."

Prior to joining ClearOrbit, Folsom served as director of services at Austin-based SiteStuff, Inc. where he was responsible for managing the design and development of services products. Previously, Folsom served as vice president of SiteSentry, a division of Austin-based Tanknology, Inc., where he was responsible for operations and systems development. In addition, Folsom has held positions in the information technology practice at Deloitte Consulting and implementation management and support at Sungard. He has also served in industrial engineering positions with Neiman-Marcus and Nortel.
