ClearOne Launches New Training Website for NetStreams Dealers and Technicians


New site highlights the importance of continuing education in the home automation market.

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 24 - ClearOne (http://www.clearone.com) (Nasdaq: CLRO), a global communications and entertainment solutions company that develops and sells conferencing, collaboration, streaming media, and connectivity systems for audio, video and web applications, today launched a new NetStreams® University website to train and certify NetStreams Product Specialists and NetStreams Product Technical Specialists.

Users who log into the site at www.netstreams.com/training are offered an on-line self-paced training course program consisting of ten video presentation modules. These course modules will take participants through the needed education on the NetStreams product line to complete the Product Specialist Certification process.

The on-line training modules consist of the following ten courses: 1- Overview of the DigiLinX Product Line, 2- Review of DigiLinX Switches and Power Supplies, 3- Features and Capabilities of DigiLinX Audio Encoders, 4- Features and Capabilities of DigiLinX Audio Decoders, 5- EIM Devices Capabilities and Accessories Overview, 6- IP Video - Review of DigiLinX Video Encoders and Decoders, 7- TouchLinX Controllers Features and Capabilities, 8- ControLInX Capabilities Overview, 9- Overview of Additional DigiLinX Products, and 10- DigiLinX Software Features Overview. Once the participant has completed the ten on-line video course modules, they are given the option to take the DigiLinX Certified Product Specialist Exam. An exam grade of 80% or higher is required to achieve NetStreams DigiLinX Product Specialist certification. Upon passing the exam, the participant can print out a certificate confirming that they are now a NetStreams DigiLinX Certified Product Specialist.

NetStreams also offers a 2-day on-site Technical Specialist Training certification class at select locations. This course provides the opportunity for individuals to attend the DigiLinX Technical Product Specialist certification training in a class room environment to complete their certification. The training courses and certifications are open to anyone who would like to learn more about the NetStreams product line. New content is constantly added, so those who have completed the certification are encouraged to check back often for additional learning opportunities.
