Clear View Bag Attends Retail Packaging Expo
Demand for Low volume and short leads time of custom plastic bags noted bt attendees
Albany, NY - Clear View Bag attended the Retail Packaging Expo, in Orlando, Florida in the beginning of March. Over 350 suppliers, distributors and manufacturing representatives attended the show.  The RPA show, which is a distributor driven organization, provides options for creative packaging solutions for the retail market.

The show focuses on plastic packaging but also features boxes, labels, tissue, wrap, ribbons, etc. Clear View’s short lead time caught the eye of many of the visitors to the booth. “It is very rare to have a 3 week lead time in the custom world”, was the response from many of the attendees who discussed their custom plastic bag requirements at the show.

Clear Views’ low volume requirements for custom orders were another major attraction for prospects. Many manufactures require high minimum orders beyond the reach of many of the visitors needs. It becomes very difficult to fill the needs of the smaller “mom and pop” companies was another refrain often heard at the show.

Our low volume and quick turn-around of custom plastic bags was extremely well received by this audience. Since many of the attendees were in the retail business, they tend to be smaller companies that need only a few thousand bags versus hundreds of thousand bags that other manufacturers may require.
