Clean Harbors Adds Online Drum Scheduling for Waste Disposal


NORWELL, Mass. - March 28, 2011 - Clean Harbors, North America's leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services, today announced a new service feature to its free Online Services waste and compliance management system.

The new Online Drum Scheduling feature enables Clean Harbors customers in the U.S. and Canada with Online Services accounts to select pickup dates, specify quantities and define waste profiles for drum shipments into Clean Harbors facilities. Online scheduling greatly reduces phone, fax and email exchanges - all while increasing flexibility, productivity and accuracy.

Online Drum Scheduling includes:

o 24/7 online scheduling;

o The ability to easily add approved waste profiles stored in Clean Harbors' Online Services system;

o Easy and expedited approval of unapproved profiles;

o Choice of predefined transportation schedules or the option to specify custom pickup dates;

o The ability to reserve a pickup date prior to finalizing drum quantities;

o The flexibility to update and finalize quantities at any time before the order is closed;

o Email confirmations;

o The capability to view order status at any time.
