MINNEAPOLIS - Clean Air Products standard-profile, straight-through air showers (model CAP701KD-ST) feature new touchscreen controls (HMI interface) that make it easier to control cycle times and facilitate program changes. The touchscreen displays a visual instruction of where the air shower is in the cycle and includes a countdown screen to inform occupants of time remaining in the air shower. The HMI interface also provides a troubleshooting screen for easy diagnosis; no need to go into the control panel.
Clean Air products air showers quickly and effectively remove particulate that otherwise would be carried into a cleanroom. They are intended as the "final polish" after gowning prior to entering a cleanroom environment. Air showers from Clean Air Products are ideal for a variety of cleanroom applications in industries including pharmaceutical/bioprocessing; semiconductor/electronics; and automotive painting and finishing.
Featuring high performance on a small footprint, the air showers are equipped with 34 adjustable, clear, anodized aluminum nozzles--16 per side and two in the ceiling-to ensure a uniform concentration of air flow for fast, effective cleaning. A powerful 3-phase 5 HP blower motor provides approximately 1900 CFM at 7800 LFM. This combination of high air-flow volume (power) and high-nozzle velocity (force) quickly and efficiently clean personnel inside the air shower.
Along with high performance, the air shower's small footprint saves space, while still accommodating a standard 36-inch door. Durable materials and construction ensure years of efficient and maintenance-free operation. No wood or plastic laminates are used. The 16-gauge painted steel shell (stainless steel is optional) with heavy-duty glass door and door closer withstand the rigors of shipping, installation and daily use. Steel construction reduces the chances of biological growth and contamination.
CAP701KD air showers can be custom-designed and ordered in a variety of configurations, including 90-degree left or right turn; 3-door (multiple entrance and exit combinations); tunnel (straight-through with multiple sections); double doors; ADA compliant; and decontamination.
