Chris Glover Assumes Key Manufacturing Roles at Arkema Group's Sartomer and Altuglas Units


EXTON, Pa.- Chris Glover has been appointed manufacturing director at Sartomer USA, LLC, part of Arkema Group. He will be responsible for developing and executing Sartomer's global manufacturing strategy for plants in the U.S., Europe and China. Glover will report directly to Douglas Sharp, Sartomer CEO and president.
Glover will also assume the role of Americas Regional Manufacturing Director for Altuglas International, another Arkema Group business, with responsibility for plants in the U.S. and Mexico. He will provide regional manufacturing support to Altuglas International Americas under the functional direction of Thierry Vasseur and administrative direction of Antonis Papadourakis.

Glover started his career with Arkema in 1997 and worked in different production and process roles before becoming plant manager of the Thiochemical plant in Riverview, Michigan. Glover has since served in roles including plant manager for Altuglas facilities in Bristol, Pennsylvania, and Kensington, Connecticut. Most recently Glover filled the role of Director of Industrial Safety for Arkema, Inc.

Glover holds a B.S. in polymer science and engineering from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and an M.B.A. from LeTourneau University in Longview, Texas.
