Lincoln, RI February 2010 - ChemArt proudly announces the appointment of Bill Thomas as President of ChemArt. Formerly the Director of Sales, Bill is chartered with leading ChemArt into a new era through sales growth and market penetration.

Thomas joined ChemArt in 2005, bringing with him expertise in retail distribution and sale management. He has demonstrated an ability to work collaboratively with many parts of the organization as well as with all types of customers in multiple channels of distribution. He has set a course for retail sales that has led to the overall visibility of retail products in many additional locations throughout the US.

Thomas is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan and holds a Masters from Duke University. Beginning his business life as an entrepreneur, he has a sense of what retailers face on an everyday basis. After selling off his business, he entered into field sales where he was recognized for his abilities by Baldwin Hardware Corporation - a division of MASCO and later Black & Decker.

Thomas continued as a top performer for over 15 years and was tapped by Baldwin management as Sales Manager of Baldwin Brass -- their gift, lighting and home décor business unit. His role included sales management, execution and sales force oversight.

Thomas is uniquely qualified to move ChemArt into a new phase of growth. As President he will set the stage for success with a vision that is sales, product and market focused.

"ChemArt is in the fantastic position of being a premiere player in the retail giftware industry and a leader in creating custom pieces for not only retail, but the collegiate, nonprofit, and healthcare industries," says Thomas. "This duality of strength sets the course for an explosion of growth for the company".
