CAS DataLoggers Visits England

Environmental and Vehicle Data Loggers from Isodaq and Influx

CHESTERLAND OH — This week CAS DataLoggers visits England to meet with two innovative British manufacturers. CAS DataLoggers Sales Manager Pete Martin and Engineering Manager Terry Nagy are visiting the corporate headquarters of environmental datalogger manufacturer Isodaq. They'll also be stopping to see the latest vehicle datalogging developments at Influx Technology. These versatile products are now available in North America through CAS DataLoggers at cost-effective prices. In March 2014 CAS DataLoggers entered the environmental and water monitoring markets. Isodaq telemetry data logging systems are ideal for remote site monitoring including GPRS data loggers for connection with flow meters, rain gauges and weather stations.

Isodaq's remote telemetry dataloggers enable organizations and businesses to perform water and environmental monitoring and gain online access to precision measurements at remote sites, even under hostile conditions. These environmental data loggers are Ideal for use by Environmental consultants and regulators, Building contractors and developers, Government departments and research organizations, and more.

Isodaq products such as the Tadpole range reduce ownership costs of telemetry outstations at remote sites. Tadpole's revolutionary design and tiny footprint enables users to fit the device into tipping-bucket rain gauges or slots inside a 50mm diam. piezometer tube.

CAS DataLoggers is also offering the Frog RX GSM/GPRS telemetry data logger, the latest addition to Isodaq's existing range of robust solutions. The FROG RX is a rugged IP68 field telemetry device with a difference—it's designed for rapid deployment at a low cost.

Harvest for Windows software is included free with the loggers and allows users to set up the logger, configure their recording rates & alarms, and graph data for all channels. Operators can also activate a control output on alarm, configure & test telemetry modems, export data to CSV or XML format files and more.

At CAS DataLoggers we also offer Influx vehicle data loggers including the Rebel Lite, a high-speed data logger which collects a wide range of signals including OBD, CAN, analog and GPS (optional). The Rebel Lite offers flexible vehicle communication along with FREE software supporting industry-standard protocols. With its remote data accessibility, the Rebel Lite vehicle data logger is ideal for vehicle and engine monitoring applications including vehicle field tests, OEM engineering data acquisition, CAN Bus recording in 'listen only' mode, and more. With Rebel data loggers you can start recording data in just a few minutes.

The Rebel Lite datalogger can collect real-time data from several sources including temperatures, RPM, brake and throttle settings, latitude/longitude, speed, etc. for extended periods without requiring any user interaction. The Rebel can simultaneously capture data from 2 different CAN sources with additional sensor options available.

Using the opto-isolated CAN communications channels, the Rebel logger allows data to be collected from the OBD port using ISO14229 and ISO15765 protocols and also features support for K-line protocol. The Rebel Lite also features multiple LEDs, 32GByte internal data storage and multiple trigger sources. Its powerful communications technologies include an option for remote connectivity via a GPRS cellular modem and optional GPS module for location tracking, all safely contained in a rugged enclosure rated at IP31.

Along with the datalogger, users also receive FREE DiaLog configuration and analysis software for configuring the Rebel and analyzing data. DiaLog offers configuration via USB and imports industry standard ASAM A2L files, ODX and CAN dbc formats.
