CAS DataLoggers and T&D are Heading to Pittcon 2014

The World’s Largest Expo on Laboratory Science

CHESTERLAND OH

Here at CAS DataLoggers we’re getting ready for Pittcon 2014, the world’s largest annual premier conference and exposition on

laboratory science. Join us March 2-6 at McCormick Place in Chicago Illinois--we’ll be set up in the TD Booth #539. CAS DataLoggers Sales Manager Pete Martin and Applications Specialist Tony Boyer will be on hand to show attendees the latest temperature monitoring solutions for their life science applications. Stop by and check out our wide range of T&D products including the new Thermo WiFi series, a great way to send your data to the cloud.

Since 2006 we’ve been showing Pittcon visitors how they can protect their products and monitor their critical processes using T&D data loggers to automatically transfer current readings and send alarms. This year Pittcon will host more than 18,000 attendees coming from 90 countries to see the latest scientific innovations in laboratory equipment, technology and supplies. Pittcon comprises solutions in life sciences, pharmaceutical discovery and QA, food safety, environmental applications, and other emerging industries.

T&D products are popular in lab and healthcare applications including temperature monitoring of vaccines in medical storage units, environmental airspace, and more. These wired and wireless dataloggers record a wide variety of values including temperature, humidity, voltage/current and more. Whether you want to collect data via USB, Ethernet or WiFi, T&D data loggers are ideal for standalone and remote data collection and alarming.

Forget having to stop what you’re doing and travel out to read a device—with T&D, checking and retrieving your data has never been easier! T&D data loggers are compact, durable and cost-effective given their many communication and alarm features. There’s no need for cabling when you can rely on built-in wireless communication capabilities for quick data downloads and instant online accessibility. With T&D you can setup automatic alarm monitoring via SMS messaging or email. If you want a quick way to collect data in the field, T&D’s RTR-500DC Handheld Data Collector can retrieve readings from Remote Units located up to 500 ft. away using wireless communication.

This year we’ll be showcasing the new T&D Thermo WiFi Data Loggers which automatically send their temperature and/or humidity data to a cloud storage service where you can view it any time anywhere—including on your mobile device and PC! These loggers record temperature and humidity on 2 channels using an external thermistor sensor and utilize Wireless LAN communication with your mobile device for setup and data download. Our free ThermoWEB mobile app lets you view current readings and data via wireless communication with theThermo WiFi logger series.

Our WiFi series features standalone battery-powered operation (on 2 AAs) with no cables necessary. For extended use, each data logger has a Logging Capacity of 8,000 Data Sets and also offer USB Communication with PC for local Setup and Data Download.

Additionally, T&D’s free Webstorage Service provides long-term cloud storage for customers’ files, up to 20MB! This service lets you view, save, and print your data from remote locations. You can also set the WebStorage Service to automatically watch your data for preset upper/lower Alarm Limits so you’ll be instantly notified with an Alert no matter where you are. This feature alone can prevent the loss of thousands of dollars of product! This cloud service comes at no charge and gives you an ideal way to electronically archive your files for regulatory compliance.

CAS DataLoggers Applications Specialist Anthony Boyer comments: “T&D is great for automated data collection, especially in a complex lab environment where the physical layout makes it difficult to run wires. Couple that with T&D’s intuitive software and you’ve got a solution that’s flexible, easy to use and right for your budget.”
