Canto Strengthens Worldwide Marketing

Addition of global marketing executive promises to strengthen company's position as digital asset management industry leader.

BERLIN, GERMAN, 27 Jun 2007 - Canto® Software, maker of the Cumulus digital asset management system, announced today the addition of Steffen Setzer to its global marketing team. Acting as Directory of Marketing, Setzer will oversee worldwide marketing operations from the company's Berlin headquarters.

Goals set in place for Setzer include strengthening and coordinating the company's worldwide marketing efforts and strategic business communications, and reenforcing Canto's position as the leading provider of digital asset management (DAM) solutions.

In addition, Setzer intends to further guide and influence product development to better address the needs of the changing market:

"Over two thirds of this company's customers would recommend Cumulus to a colleague," he explains, citing a 2006 study conducted by the Palo Alto Consulting Group of Palo Alto, California. "This is great, but we nevertheless must work on better customer communications and increased market-focused product development."

Structural changes made to Canto's global marketing division-which include additional personnel in the United States-will enable Setzer to execute projects efficiently, and to identify and reach new market segments.

Prior to joining Canto, Steffen Setzer served as head of marketing and communication for schlott gruppe AG, a solution provider in the printing and direct marketing industry. He holds an Executive MBA in Media from Berlin's Steinbeis School.

"Canto is a company I've admired from the outside for quite some time,"
Setzer explains, a Cumulus user himself. "I look forward to joining this excellent team and playing a significant role in the company's continued evolution and growth."
