Industry-Leading Bluetooth for Windows(R) (BTW) Software Enables Advanced Features for Optimizing the Users' PDA Experience

BARCELONA, Spain, 3GSM World Congress, Feb. 14 // -- Broadcom Corporation (NASDAQ:BRCM), a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications, today announced that its advanced Bluetooth(R) silicon and software technology has been adopted by ASUSTek Computer Inc. in several new connected PDA products including the recently launched P535 Triband(TM) PDA GPS and 3G P735 PDA phones. ASUSTek (ASUS), one of the world's leading total solution providers for computers, communications and consumer electronics products, selected Broadcom's single-chip BCM2045 Bluetooth transceiver, coupled with Broadcom(R) Bluetooth for Windows(R) PocketPC Phone Edition (BTW-PPC/PE) software to enable the cutting-edge features for their P535 and P735 PDA phones with GPS functionality.
