Blossman Gas Announces Purchase of Two Southeastern Propane Marketers
OCEAN SPRINGS, Miss., Sept. 2 - Blossman Gas, Inc., the nation's largest independent propane retailer, announced today that it has purchased the assets of Leco Gas Inc. of Canton, Georgia, as well as the propane division of McCombs Oil and Propane in Morganton, North Carolina.
These acquisitions, both of which closed in August of this year, are expected to bring approximately two million gallons to Blossman.
Blossman Gas President and CEO Stuart Weidie says, "We look forward to serving the customers of Leco Gas and McCombs Propane and we welcome the employees of both of these companies to the Blossman team."
A family and employee owned company, Blossman has been serving propane customers in the southeast and mid-Atlantic states since 1951.
