On March 31, 2008, ANSI will convene follow-up meeting for U.S. stakeholders interested in international standardization issues in biotechnology arena. Meeting will build upon issues discussed during Jan 10 biotechnology strategy session and Jan 21-22 meeting of ISO CSC/STRAT. As ISO takes these issues under consideration, ANSI's meeting will further the dialogue with U.S. biotechnology experts and offer follow-up information on status and next steps of proposed standardization activities.

Biotechnology Standardization Follow-Up Meeting to be Held March 31



On March 31, 2008, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) will convene a follow-up meeting for U.S. stakeholders interested in international standardization issues in the biotechnology arena.

The meeting, to be held in Washington, DC, will build upon the issues discussed during the January 10 biotechnology strategy session and the January 21-22, 2008, meeting of the International Organization for Standardization Council Standing Committee on Strategies (ISO CSC/STRAT). As ISO takes these issues under consideration, ANSI's March 31 meeting will further the dialogue with U.S. biotechnology experts and offer follow-up information on the status and next steps of proposed standardization activities.
