Biodegradable Products by IPC

Burlington, New Jersey, USA: Consideration for user safety and the environment remain at the forefront of International Products Corporation's (IPC) research and development. IPC is pleased to offer biodegradable, environmentally friendly products that will substitute for many of the hazardous solvents and chemicals commonly used in cleaning and assembly operations.

P-80® Temporary Rubber Assembly Lubricant is an assembly aid that significantly reduces installation force and improves assembly operations, making rubber easy to install, remove, cut and otherwise manipulate. Biodegradable formulas include: P-80® Emulsion – the original formula used for manual and automated applications, P-80® THIX – a thixotropic gel ideal for overhead and vertical assemblies, and the more recently added P-80® RediLube – designed for non-porous and coated rubber and plastic.

Each P-80 formula provides varied degrees of lubrication and drying times. Applications include the installation of hoses, bushings, seals, o-rings, grommets, and grips. P-80 does not contain alcohol, petroleum distillates, or silicone. It is safe to use on natural and synthetic rubbers, metals, and most plastics.

IPC also manufactures free-rinsing precision cleaners that provide fast-acting removal of many soils and are registered with NSF as category A1 cleaners for use in food processing areas. Biodegradable cleaners include Micro® A07 – a citric acid cleaner designed to remove milkstone, hard water scale and inorganic soils, and Micro® Green Clean – a multi-purpose alkaline cleaner designed to remove oil, grease and biological debris. Both products are outstanding for cleaning filter membranes, labware and process equipment. In addition they are free of CDC's, ODC’s phosphates, silicates, borates, halogenated compounds and phenols.
