BIO President & CEO Jim Greenwood said, “The EPA has long been a supporter of biotechnology as a solution to climate and pollution challenges and as an enabling technology for advanced biofuels and green chemistry. The EPA’s consistent administration of America’s Renewable Fuel Standard has been a key driver of the development of advanced biofuels. The RFS works, and it is one of the few policies on the books today that addresses climate change.
