Bill Hayes Appointed President of Blachford Acoustics Group, North America
Blachford Acoustics Group is pleased to announce the hiring of Bill Hayes as President of its North American operations. The rapidly expanding Blachford Acoustics Group now has a total of five business units, strategically placed in Canada, the US and most recently the UK. In this new role, Bill will report to Dr. John Blachford, who becomes Chief Executive Officer for the group in North America. Mr. Hayes will also work closely with Jason Lippitt, Managing Director of Blachford Ltd. (formerly TMAT Limited) in Chesterfield, England.
As President, Hayes will have direct responsibility for Blachford Acoustics’ West Chicago, Illinois and Kings Mountain, North Carolina business units in the US as well as the Cambridge and Mississauga, Ontario business units in Canada. He will oversee the significant push underway to expand production capabilities, add to the West Chicago technical facility and execute aggressive plans to position Blachford Acoustics Group as the foremost acoustical solutions provider in the off-highway, truck and other select markets in both North America and Europe.

Mr. Hayes earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Swansea University, Great Britain. He also holds an M.B.A from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. His work history includes high achievement in the areas of design, development, operations, lean manufacturing and business development.
