The award was conferred during a ceremony at the EMS Today conference taking place here this week, and an announcement was published in the February 2015 issue. Beyond Lucid Technologies won for its MEDIVIEW™ electronic patient care record system and prehospital health information exchange, a first-of-its-kind software integrated platform providing:
• Compliance with the National EMS Information System (NEMSIS) v3 and legacy v2 Gold;
• Features purpose-built for use during disasters, including integrated online/offline telemedicine and GPS;
• The ability to share prehospital data in as little as 30 seconds...for FREE...which fosters interoperability between EMS and care facilities, as the latter begin seeking pre-arrival details about frequent and acute patients; and
• An integrated non-emergency dispatch and scheduling module called "TRIPS" designed for Community Paramedicine / Mobile Integrated Healthcare, including the ability to create longitudinal care records that may help prevent hospital readmissions.
