BASF Announces Web Site for Elastollan® TPU Product Line

WYANDOTTE, MI, June 22, 2009 - BASF today announced a new Web site that features its broad line of Elastollan® thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU). The new site is www.elastollan.com.

BASF is the world's larger supplier of TPUs. TPUs are well suited for many applications, including hose and tubing, film and sheet, wire and cable, piping, consumer and industrial goods, and specialty products. Formulations can be blow molded, calendared, extruded or injection molded.

Information pertains to mechanical properties (hardness, elastic behavior, tensile strength, compression and tensile set, impact strength and abrasion resistance); thermal properties; electrical properties; and chemical, radiation, ozone and microbiological resistance data.
