B&K Precision Refreshes Handheld SLA Battery Tester Line

Same Easy-to-Use Interface with Improved Rubber Keypad and Durable Kelvin Clamps

YORBA LINDA, CA - BK Precision today announced two new handheld battery capacity analyzers, models 600B and 601B, and improves upon its former models 600 and 601 with an enhanced design. Both models provide durable Kelvin clamps and can measure the capacity of sealed lead acid (SLA) batteries with Ah ranges up to 100 Ah. These new models offer affordable solutions to anyone responsible for the test and maintenance of SLA batteries used in backup power UPS, emergency lighting, fire alarms, security systems, and many other electrical systems.

Notable improvements to the previous models are the 600B and 601B's new rubber keypad and high quality Kelvin clamps that are attached to the instruments via strain reliefs. The battery analyzers continue to provide the same easy-to-use interface as their predecessors and are powered by the battery under test, eliminating the need for external power to use the instrument.

Both models support testing of 12 V batteries with no-load voltage measurement and reverse polarity indication. Like the previous models, the 600B can be set to 7, 12, 24, 42, 65, and 100 Ah ranges, while the 601B can test both 6 V and 12 V batteries at Ah ranges between 5-100 Ah, settable in 1 Ah steps. Additionally, the 601B provides loaded voltage and internal resistance measurement capabilities.

Available immediately, BK Precision's 600B and 601B handheld battery capacity analyzers are listed at a price of $329 and $439 respectively.
